Manfred was professional and compassionate about the issue with my vehicle even though there was an indefinite waiting period for the catalytic converter. I understand that there is a policy for using only OEM parts but there should be an exception when the situation is critical. I was able to find a shop that installed a CARB compliant aftermarket catalytic converter within 2 days, instead of waiting months and incurring the cost of a rental vehicle.
