I wanted to share feedback regarding my service visit today. I brought my vehicle in because the low tire pressure light had been on for several days. I explained clearly to Rick that this happens about every three months and it’s always the spare tire that’s low. He took notes and said he’d check it.
A few hours later, I received a text requesting approval for three items: tire replacement and two filters. I approved the filters but declined the tires. At the bottom of the message, there was a yellow “Future Service Needed” box mentioning a sensor—but no option to approve or decline this service. I interpreted that as an informational note, not a request for immediate repair.
Later, I received a text that my car was ready and that the filters had been replaced. However, on my drive home, the low tire pressure light came back on. I immediately called the service department and was told to return. I brought the car back around 2:30 p.m.
When I asked Rick why the light was still on, he said I had declined the sensor repair. That is not accurate—I showed him the text message where no such approval option was provided. I also expressed that given my repeated concerns about this ongoing issue, he should have called to clarify rather than assuming I declined service. His response—that he didn’t call because I texted back—made little sense given the circumstances.
This experience was frustrating. My car was with your team for about four hours, the problem wasn’t resolved, and now I have to return next week. While I appreciate that Rick offered to waive the diagnostic fee and provide Uber vouchers, this situation caused unnecessary inconvenience and could have been prevented with better communication and follow-through.
I hope this feedback helps improve communication and service consistency in the future.
