Since I bought my lifetime alignment, this is my second time bringing it in. When I get the alignment report, it isn’t in total alignment. I take it to Honda because they are the experts in achieving best possible results.
First time was told by representative that report probably reflected extra weight of tech while performing test because misalignment was only shown in front driver wheel. I had even paid extra for a car wash and it came out spotted. Representative asked if I parked next to a sprinkler and that there was nothing they could do for that. I trusted what she said but later at home I wiped the spots off with a polishing rag. Felt like quality was left to be desired after that.
Today’s alignment report had multiple areas of misalignment after completed and test was run only to be explained that everything that could be corrected was done. He also said it wasn’t anything to be concerned about but I’m not an expert on alignment and could do better getting a second opinion. I was asked by today’s representative if I went off roading with it because it was so bad. Kind of felt like he was putting blame on me for why it couldn’t be aligned.
My question now is, does that mean that no one can bring it to full alignment. I paid top dollar to the Honda pros for top notch service but felt like I would do better taking it to an alignment specialist. They may have greater expertise as to how to do the job. I’m not an expert myself so I have to rely on those most qualified.
