I request that you do not contact me on Sat or Sun (11/16 or 11/17). I dropped off my car at 10am (scheduled appt) and spoke to Gary Hidalgo. I only needed an oil change, tire rotation/alignment, and throttle body service. They would also check if there were any other issues with my vehicle. I was told my car would be ready by 1pm and if there was any delay or issues were found I would be called by 12pm. At 2pm I called for an update since It was 1hr past the expected completion time. I waited on hold for 9min. At 2:15 Gary told me that there was a delay due to a different car having problems and the mechanic didn't let him know my car wasn't being worked on. Gary said he would call me back in 5min with an update of my car. At 2:39pm Gary called me back and said the mechanic had completed the services that were requested and was now checking for any unknown issues. At 2:57 Gary called to say my car was ready, there were no issues and he would dispatch a vehicle. I stopped my work (I was working from home) and waited for the pick up as I live ~1.5 miles from the dealership and it should be quick. At 3:23pm I received a call from the driver asking for my address. I was picked up at 3:35pm and driven straight to the dealership. Gary spoke very little to me. Said hi, dealt with my receipt and that was it. I heard talks of someone having a heart attack there very recently but that is unrelated to my vehicle delay. I left at 4pm, 2hrs after the quoted time my car was to be ready. I received 0% communications after I left the dealership this morning at 10am. Nothing happened until I contacted the dealership. I would have had no problem with the delay if I was actually kept updated on the delay. Instead, I was left wondering what was going on with no communication and wasting 2hrs of my workday during the busiest time of my workday.

I am happy with the service at Rock Honda. But it is people like Kevin that keeps clients like myself loyal to your dealership. He genuinely treats you like family, with honesty and integrity. There's no words to express how greatful I am for not only his professionalism but for his persona with his kind words after realizing I was going through a difficult time, my dad possibly passing away soon. And having to deal with the process of getting my car fix or exploring other options. Thank you Kevin for showing me there's still people who can show sympathy, empathy and kindness for others. I waited 2 hours for an oil change. Poor customer service. I was disappointed that I had to ask what was going on with my car. Never once was I told why I had to wait. My paperwork said it would be 1 hour. Not happy at all with the customer service and not likely to recommend this dealership's service department.

I called in last min. To see if a recommended relative could get a oil change and Luis made it possible to be seen that same day. He kept us informed when the battery did not pass the Inspection and allowed us to make a decision on the matter without feeling the pressure that he was trying to sell us an unnecessary item for the car. To sum it up he was very informative about the car’s status, professional when calling and informing us.
