Chris was great!

My issue isn't with the staff at Paradise that looked at my truck, my issues are with GM and Chevrolet. I understand that the service technicians are just doing a job and following the guidance put out by GM with regards how to service any issues currently going on with their vehicles. I find it hard to believe that the only two options for my particular issue of a stuck lifter on my cylinder#7, the only option I'm given is to replace the Bank#1 lifters for $6000, and or $10k+ to just put in a whole new engine.that's ridiculous. For one I've already had to have a brand new transmission installed at 60,0000, now 60,000 miles later a whole new engine. The lifter repair offered let's just face it, is a band aid to a much bigger problem. I know this because there is a class action lawsuit just for the current issue that I am having with my truck. I am at a loss now with a damaged truck sitting in my driveway doing nothing. I have been a lifetime Chevy owner my whole life a Silverado owner in particular and I have backed and supported Chevy, but I think after this I'm going to have to jump ship. My one and only option I think I have is to install an AFM/DOD delete on my truck to disable the AFM on my truck, which is seen and known to be the issue with these trucks and the only way to completely fix it, why I should even have to do this to correct a known design flaw in GM's workmanship is beyond me. I know my service technician Chris was just following the TSB bulletin put out by GM and doing his job. Yes I read the TSB on this design flaw by GM so I already knew the outcome by Paradise prior to bringing my truck in. To make a long story short I'm just not content with the only couple options I was offered by the dealership in repairing in which I think is an easy fix with the ridiculous price tag I was given to repair it. I think GM wants customers to give up by not being able to afford the repairs and just end up either selling their defected trucks back and get another one so they can just hide the real fact of the underlying issue they really have going on with their vehicles.
