I bought a brand new 2024 Trail Boss and a little over 500 miles in, the check engine light went on. Keep in mind I had my brand new truck for only 2 weeks and it already had an issue. Also one of the DEF fluid gauges wasn’t working. Dropped off my truck on 2/26 and got it back all the way on 3/13…almost 3 weeks later. The service department had my truck for almost as long as I did before taking it in. One faulty sensor was fixed but the DEF fluid gauge still isn’t. They replaced 4 parts to try to fix that issue but in the end I was told that this issue is non-reparable because it is most likely a software issue that GM can’t fix yet. All that time and no fix. So I currently have a brand new truck that has an issue that can’t be fixed so I apparently just have to deal with it. Doesn’t feel great to spend so much money on a new truck that has an issue that the service department has no way of fixing.
The only positive thing during this experience was that Jon gave me daily updates and kept me in the loop with everything. I can’t say anything negative about him.

My appt was at 7:30 I waited until 10:20 to be notified of what was wrong. Very poor customer service/communication. My car finished at noon and because the personnel manning the car wash were on lunch I was unable to get my car wash or I could wait until 1-1:30 for it. This is the second time this has happened to me here. This is why I do not like coming to this dealership as I often wait a long time for my car to be done on a basic fix.
