When I went to the dealer I told them about a problem with a ticking noise and after they “serviced it” they didn’t tell me anything about the problem I was having not to mention they were backed up it took them 4 hours to service my car and I had an appointment at 10 horrible service

I came in to get a recall checked out and I let the service writer know that my steering wheel controls had stopped working after my last visit. Granted, it had been a few months since the visit (he didn't bother to ask how long it had been), but with Covid, we haven't been driving that vehicle very often as we have other vehicles that we primarily drive. There was no effort to look up the last service record to see when it was or how many miles had been driven since that service. He just told me that there would be a $100+ diagnostic fee to check it out. A little more effort would have been greatly appreciated instead of being dismissed so abruptly.

Was promised a wait time of less than two hours for an oil change and first scheduled maintenance, actual time was three hours. I was expecting my vehicle to be washed as I was noticing other vehicles being brought out of service washed when released to the customer. Would have appreciated timely updates for status.
