Let me start with a positive and what Norm Reeves Service has done well. The actual maintenance service was very good, there were even videos provided to show the condition of the engine etc. The greeter, I forgot his name, was also great and received me pleasantly. Unfortunately, this did not make up for the lack of great service from the new employee, Omar A. At the start he was very cordial, following his mentor, trying to complete all the steps needed to receive a customer with a vehicle that is scheduled for maintenance. Then finished off with an 11AM time of completion as indicated on the service document. The root of my disatisfaction comes from the lack of updates after 11AM has passed. I had to text him a couple of times at 11:52AM to ask what was going on and was asked to wait 20 minutes more. I gave him more than 20 mins thinking he was perhaps busy but still no updates So I had to text him to find out if they are still working on my CRV. I am thinking to myself at this point - is this a common practice at Norm Reeves? Not providing updates shows a lack of respect on the customer's time. For more than 3 hours of waiting for a simple oil change and tire rotation, an update with regard to what is causing the delay (which turned out to by our pre-paid maintenance plan) would have been greatly appreciated. I was really angry at the point of checkout and decided to remain quiet than yell at this new guy who showed me a lack of respect.
