My dissatisfaction, for the first time ever with Norm Reeves Honda since I purchased my car there in 2017, was not specifically with Louis. My source of dissatisfaction was with the lack of communication from start to finish regarding this service (specifically, what was recommended in the service at the time I initially scheduled the appointment , estimated cost for the service, and the difficulty I experienced communicating with the Norm Reeves service staff the day of the appointment…I was placed on hold for extended periods of time on 2 occasions, and the service representative I was assigned to was not available at another time when I called…. I had to ask for a supervisor to speak with rather than being offered an alternative person to speak when Louis was away at lunch.

Brandon Son was great, patient and took the time to record all the concerns raised about the vehicle. The only aspect of the service was that it was difficult to get hold of a live person when trying to get the status of the vehicle. No one answers the phone. I called 3-4x and got terribly frustrated. I had to call sales and tell them to contact the service department. The best part was it was a simple fix and I was not charged.

I sent a note when I returned home to thank Michael for a job well done. He was very thorough, patiently describing the work that should be done soon and giving me a heads up for what would be needed “down the road” at the 100,000 mile mark. Before I left, he went over the inspection checklist with me. I would describe Michael as very professional at the same time warm and personable… he inspires a feeling of trust. I told him I hoped he was appreciated and appropriately compensated by his employers!

Long left for lunch before notifying me of my car being ready. Another attendant had to step in to help, then a third, to locate my paperwork. I asked if this happens often and the employees who stepped in to assist me said he does this often, so often that they’ve coined the term “a Long break”. One of the employees told me he’s even skipped his own lunch to make up for Long’s lack of communication. This is horrible! He was a nice guy but he seems really entitled.

I took my car in for a recall, and because the break button. Would get stuck in the morning. They fixed issue with recall and then they quoted me 390.00 for parts and labor. We declined because we didn't feel it needed a new part. Today we had to take it in again because the lighs on the shift controls were not working. Took it in again today and apparently the service technician forgot to connect the wire. I've bought 3 cars from your dealership you guys and this was one of the worst experience I've had.

Shuttle service or Lyft never showed despite several promises. No preventative maintenance was done despite Honda having clear options for this exact issue (part #4019-2317) Not covered by warranty despite being fault of material chosen by manufacturer. Was promised anti-rodent material was used for all wiring/hosing in engine compartment when leasing the vehicle after I had this issue previously. Will not return to this location. Would not recommend this location or Honda in general to anyone I know.
