I brought my car in for inspection and oil change. When I got my car back, there is a humming noise that was not there before. The tech mechanic rechecked the car while I was asked to go back to the customer lounge. Eventually, I was told that it looks like some rodents might have messed with the insulation near the glove compartment. I did not understand why it was not making that sound before I brought the car in. Jeff Sabraw tried to explain it to me but still did not make sense. My brother and his mechanic friends informed me that it also did not make sense to them because they have not seen any rodents in my area. Also, I use my car everyday actively. I have another car that just sits in my driveway for 2 yrs. I normally start it every week and it’s A/C does not have any humming sound. It is still a mystery to me why if they claim rodents that it did not have the humming sound before it was serviced by Freeway Honda.
