I was told by Art Oropeza that the extended warranty I purchased through Honda will only cover repairs "IF" the issue is due to a recall. Is this true? I was not charged this time because my issue was due to a recall but I am concerned that his statement is deceiving.

Although Carlos was a complete gentleman, the issue my new vehicle hasn't been resolved. According to Carlos, my vehicles alert flr system update could not be completed due to the manufacturer inability to provide it. My entire system had to be deleted and redone due to connection issues. A huge concern! What was frustrating is the fact that it still took over 4 hours and the system update bot be completed. So either the dealership is over booking or under staffed. Not a good 1st experience. I do understand that some things may be out of theor control.
