I am deeply disappointed in Honda. This past week I went in for the A13 maintenance and 2 new tires. However, when I got the service done I was told by Trinity that my TPMS piece was broken by whoever previously placed my tire on and said I'd need to pay for the replacement. This does not sit right with me because I the last time Honda rotated the tire there was no problem and the TPMS warning light was not flashing until after my car received its most recent service here. The tire that needed to be rotated has been on my car for the past 2 years with no issues and if that tires system was truly broken it would have been flashing and beeping prior to this visit, not after the visit. The only light flashing that I came in with was the A13 light and occasionally the check tire pressure small light would come on but it always turned off whenever I filled it with air. That light tends to only pop on after extreme weather/temperature changes which I am aware is normal. I was then told by Trinity Guzman that if they rotated the tires the TPMS warning signal would just be lit up and that it would be tiny. Well, 1 day after this service a loud beeping and flashing orange TPMS warning occurs several times literally every minute that the car is on. I reached out to Trinity about this and she is still adamant about blaming whoever put the tire on 2 years ago and expects me to pay $254.52 for a new TPMS that was obviously not broken until I brought it into Honda that day. Mistakes and mishaps happen. It's a part of life, but the most upsetting part is being lied to and having my service representative cover up the mishap that clearly occurred at Honda. After trusting you guys with my car for 3 years and spending almost 2k last week, I am deeply disappointed and feel deeply disrespected by this occurrence. I am not willing to pay an additional $254.52 on top of a 1,500+ bill for a sensor that was not broken prior to this past Honda service. I strongly believe this should be fixed for free as it is not a client's fault when a piece breaks while your mechanic is working on it. I should not be held responsible for damage done on the job. I also feel disrespected that Trinity would go cover for them instead of being honest. And then to tell me that there wouldn't be any big beeping etc when that's what's happening and is distracting my driving is highly upsetting. I would not only like a free replaced TPMS on that tire but I would like to have my service advisor switched back to Anthony Sanchez. I initially had Anthony and never had an issue until I was switched to Trinity. This is my 2nd bad situation that I've experienced under her advisory. If this cannot be properly corrected by Honda, I will take my service elsewhere and I will have to make a report to the BBB.
