I dropped my car off to have a scratch fixed that was on the car when I purchased it, as well as have the car detailed inside and out and have a rattle that comes from the driver's side rear speaker area that I thought could be the speaker itself because when the music is on is when it rattles. They originally told me when they called to schedule it that it would be done about Wednesday or Thursday of the following week. I drdropped it off on a Friday (12th of February) and they set me up for a rental for 5 days. I told them that I couldn't be back down to pick it up until Thursday or Friday of the following week because I live like 2 hrs away. With a lot of effort they were able to accommodate a longer rental and extended it until the next Friday. I hadn't heard anything about my car being done, so that next Thursday (February 18th) I called to see if my car would be ready for me to make the trip down to pick it up the day in the 19th. Rachel called me back and told me my car was still at the paint shop and that they were waiting on parts that wouldn't be in until the following Monday or Tuesday, and then they had to get it back and detail it so it would probably be the Wednesday or Thursday of the following week before it would be ready. I then specifically asked if they had fixed the speaker and she told me yes, that they had fixed it and went out and test drove it and the rattling was gone. I'm glad I didn't just make the 2 hr trip down there to find out the car wasn't ready when they said it would be, and called first. After that Rachel was really good to call me and keep me updated on the progress of my car. She called that following Thursday (February 25th) to tell me the car was back and had been detailed and was ready for pick up. I came the following day (Friday February 26th) to pick it up. I asked her at that time why they needed to drive my car to fix the speaker when all they had to do was turn on the music to hear it rattle. She stated that I never told her it was when the music was on that it rattled. Apparently it wasn't put in the notes that it rattled when the volume was on and it must have been a miscommunication. I saodni would like it fixed because I had specifically asked about it being fixed when I called. She said she would have the car pulled up and get her manager so we could listen together to the rattle. The rattle was still there, but it was better. The manager said they could try fix it but it would take most of the day because they would have to take the back pannel off and try to put foam or insulation to try to get rid of it and that they didn't have the time that day. He said that you're going to get rattles and things with the subwoofer from the premium sound systems. Small rattles I understand, but when you can hear the rattle over the music that's ridiculous. He said I could leave my car and they could get to it possibly Saturday or more likely Monday and they would extend the rental, or I could schedule to have it fixed at my next service. I was frustrated because they had already had the car for 2 weeks and told me it was fixed, plus I had made the 2 hr trip to pick it up. Not to mention the manager made me feel like I was being difficult, or picky for lack of a better word, because he tried to downplay it saying that you're going to get rattles with the subwoofer and the type of material they make back panels out of, and that the SXM is more of a high definition sound that makes stronger bass. To be honest the rattle wasn't as bad sitting there, but when I left to drive home the rattle became worse. So maybe it's worse when the car is moving. The bottom line is that I bought all the warranties, so
