Extremely long wait for a standard oil change. Had an appointment at 12. Was quoted to be done by 2:40. At 3:30pm, I got up from the lobby to find my car sitting in the parking lot and ready. I did not receive any communication the vehicle was ready. When I spoke to a representative who gave me my keys, she told me the service advisor was on lunch and that is why I waited almost an hour after my quoted time. By far, the worst experience.

I Decline to have my tires checked, I did not decline you said oh, you have all new tires and I told you yes.and for my oil change and brake fluid, it took a long time, I came in at 12:30 my appointment was at 1:00 pm and I left at 3:15pm
But the customer service man that help me when I came in was very nice to me. It just took a long time for oil change your brake fluid.

Joseph was kind and patient with all my questions, especially the ones non related to my service. The first time around, we had another advisor (not sure his name) and he was not great. He didn’t give us a time frame at first, then when I called about 4 hours later he mentioned 20 minutes more and that was completely false — it took another 2 hours or so. In general, I think the service at Honda Cerritos is slow and maybe less appointments should be scheduled? Overall, Joseph is a great advisor and my husband and I appreciated the time frame.

To begin with I did not get any information on what part of the Ignition the recall was about. I currently have a Ignition switch that is bad. I know because if I wiggle the switch harness from the connecting terminals it makes the car shut off completely. I have seen that my vehicle has a recall on the switch and believed that your techs where going to switch that part out. When I got back into my car I noticed that the Ignition switch was the same one and asked to see the old part. Manny stated "why am I going to make the Tech dig through the trash ?" I work in the Automotive industry as well and as a technician you always show the old part to the customer without hesitation. Manny and the Tech took a long time to show me a "old" part that was still in the bag with the Honda sticker. This part that they showed me was really clean and shiny and not dusty or dirty. They stated that it was a interlock that was replaced. Once I reviewed the paper work it stated that Inspection wasn't even done because the ignition switch was hanging due to my car not working if it was inside the lock cylinder. I also have a Voice mail stating that the tech couldn't turn on my car that hey needed help to turn it on. That looks really bad to your dealership because they are asking the customer to turn on the car when they are the Technician. Very disappointed with the service I got from this Dealership.
