I came into the dealership to purchase 2 new tires. Online I was provided with total final price for my order. My service adviser offered me a deal for 4 new tires. He provided me an estimate order that we discussed would be the final price with tax included which he guaranteed. He also mentioned that the order would include hazard coverage based on thread life and number of free tire rotation. Upon making my payment I discovered that I was given a higher price than what I agreed to pay. The adviser mentioned that the final price included tax. I clearly stated to him that his estimate include the tax. At a minimum, this might be an oversight by him. At most, I feel the offer was less than honest.
I have my doubt that additional offers are even valid.
