We had an appointment for an oil change and for our recalled part to be fixed in my Honda 2020 hybrid accord, that’s all we requests. We were charged over $70 and we have no clue why. The oil change was only supposed to be about $50 (we had a mailed promotion) as Viviana Saenz verified. But we still don’t know why we were charged the other $20+ because all that is left unaccounted for is the recalled part. Recalled parts should not be charged to the customer. We feel scammed.
Also after I picked up my car at Norm Reeves, the interior of my car has been reeking of gasoline when I sit inside of the car. That doesn’t seem very safe. This entire experience was disappointing to say the least and we don’t want to come back.

I’m a little disappointed. Brakes and brake pad conditions are a critical item in vehicle safety. I thought that a 15 point inspection would include looking at the brake pads. A visual inspection with the car on a hoist is enough to determine if there is sufficient pad lining left or should be looked at. Also, the left front tire is relatively new and shouldn’t have been in the red column unless you identified a problem.

I had a very bad experience with your service provider Tony on 1/8/2022. My experience with Tony started when I brought my car for service around 12/7/21 to primarily change the oil on my 2016 CRV and also to ask bout my head-gasket leak that your service department told me about on my previous car maintenance. The leak was covered by my warranty. The service advisor never called me to schedule the appointment because i found out that the lady helped me left the dealership. Tony recommended i perform what the manufacturer suggested to change all fluids the crv and that he can apply a $50 coupon towards the service. I told him that i have another coupon at home. He told me to bring it back anytime after the service and he can credit back the receipt. I approved all fluids to be changed on the vehicle for around $700 as he recommended. Tony told me that day, he will not have time to perform the gasket leak change. I was surprised when i came back to pickup my car at 5 PM, Tony’s mechanic was working on the leak. Tony had me and my friend who gave me a-ride to wait for another 1hr and half.
Having too much pressure at work through end of last year, i couldn’t make it to your dealership for few weeks to bring back the $25 coupon. After having sometime to spare today, i decoded to stop at your dealership to retrieve my credit and to ask about the noise on my rear brakes. I talked to the maintenance supervisor about the credit and the brake noise because Tony was not there. I didn’t know the guy who helped me was the supervisor, he was kind enough to have Javier the mechanic look at my rear brake pads. When Tony came back from his brake, the supervisor gave everything back to Tony. Tony told me that he can’t apply the $25 to my old receipt because it was more than one week over, and then he changed his mind and said because it was more than two weeks over. This got me really upset, he continued by telling me that he can apply my valid $25 coupon to service the brakes as he is doing me a favor! When i asked him about the price he had to ask his supervisor. His supervisor told him it will cost me $200 for changing the brakes and servicing the rotors or $258 with replacing the rotors. He said he can perform the job today but i have to approve the work right away for $175 with the coupon. I approved the work to get the car in the shop. I was surprised that Tony soon afterce back to tell me that the $175 will be replacing pads only and not surfacing the rotors.
I was amazed through our conversation, his supervisor left the seen as he didn’t want to deal with the situation.
I’m very frustrated with Norm Reeves! I purchased my CRV in cash from the Irvine store and spent thousands of dollars on my Hondas through the past 13 years.
Your service rep wrestled me so hard on a pathetic valid $25 dollar coupon!!!
I end up pulling my car from your service department and buying the pads from your dealership parts department and fixing it on my own!!!
