John Le has been “My Go To” Service Manager at HB Norm Reeves Honda for over 5 years now. I recently brought my 2017, 4-door hatchback in for its regular oil change and check up. While I was there, I mentioned to John Le (My Service Manager) that I recently had noticed some of the metallic silver paint around the hatch back window area was peeling off in large flakes. When John to a look at he said that is definitely not right because he did not see any primer color between the metallic silver paint and the car body. John called his manager out to take a look at this issue. John’s Manager agreed and said that it did not look correct and that John should contact corporate for a resolve. John called me back within a few days and let me know that whoever he spoke with at the corporate office told him that my car was out of warranty and that nothing could be done. But, John did not like the answer he received and let me know that he was going to elevate my cars paint issue even higher! John called me back in a few days with great news. Honda had changed their mind and was going to take care of all repairs and repainting of the glass hatchback hatchback window area! John Le has always impressed me with his courteous, professional and Can-Do-attitude LIKE THIS EXAMPLE, for over five years now of me coming to HB Norm Reeves Honda for this reason. But this time, John really went the extra mile for me. He not only questioned the corporate office management decision, He Challenged It! I've been trying to follow up after my service. I let Ivette know I wanted to discuss. Since up picked up my vehicle I have several issues to resolve. The clock time is off. Navigation calendar says 2002. And driver seat has scratches. I've called and have not been able to speak with anyone about these items.
