Carice was helpful and pleasant but…..no one approached me when I entered the empty lane. I waited for several minutes with no one assisting me. After exiting my car and standing outside no one ever approached me. I eventually had to go into the office and ask for assistance at which time Carice assisted me. This is the poorest service I have ever had at Hampton service department.

My issue ended up getting resolved. After 45 mins on hold with Toyota customer service AND speaking with Mr.Tom.
My 2019 tundra is just over 2 years old. Yes I have 40,000 miles on it. The factory battery left my wife stranded on Saturday. I understand the truck is out of factory warranty due to mileage. A battery should last longer than 2 years. The explanation I got told was a battery has a 3 year 36,000 warranty.I’ve been in the automotive business my entire life. Batteries do not and never will have a mileage warranty.
Again the issue was eventually taken care of.

My name is Randall Duhon. I purchased a new tundra back in 2010 and have used Hampton exclusively for all my service and in all that time I have never had any issues with the service I received. Recently me and my wife purchased a 2021 Highlander from Hampton. We brought it in today for its first oil change and tire rotation. We made a appointment ahead of time for today’s visit. After waiting for a hour and a half in the waiting room and getting no update on the status of the service, I went ask for a update. Was told that it was not done and they were doing a recall that involved reflashing the computer and it will be done in a few minutes. After waiting another hour, I went ask again for another update and was told told it would be a few more minutes. I then asked for a courtesy car so we could go get lunch and come back after that to pick up the car. They agreed to my request. While we were doing the paperwork for the courtesy car they told me the car was ready. During this almost 3 hour ordeal we were not once given a update about our car unless I went ask myself. We talk to the manager and that was a absolute waste of time. I love Hampton Toyota and have purchased two new vehicles there and will be in the market for a new truck soon. I hope this visit today and our awful experience with the service personal is not what we should expect in the future.
