I have been a loyal customer of Honda Cars of Corona (and Honda in general) since 2014 to service my cars. I first took my Civic, and later in 2017, when I purchased my accord, I took it there as well. I am honestly shocked at the poor customer service I received earlier today. I arrived at the dealership at 8:54am for a simple oil change and didn’t get my car until 1:00pm. I’m still in disbelief that it took a whole 4 hours for me to receive my car, especially when I was originally informed that it would take anywhere from 1- 1 1/2 hours. I signed the paperwork and said I would be in the waiting room. When I arrived to the waiting room, there were already people seated and more individuals filtered in minutes later. I’m well aware that Sunday’s are busy days...but as hours went by, I witnessed EVERY SINGLE PERSON who arrived after me go to the cashier’s office, pay for their service, and be sent on their way. There was a long period of time where I was the only one waiting. At that point, something felt off and I went to the cashier’s office to inquire about my car. The ladies working behind the desk were even surprised that I had been waiting that long, they knew something was wrong. AN OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION SHOULD NOT TAKE FOUR HOURS. In the end, I was just told that there was a high volume of people getting their oil changed today, and mine just happened to be pushed back “for some reason”. Yes, I was given an apology, but that doesn’t give me my time back, or make it right. I’m willing to spend a little extra to get my car serviced at the dealership, and with that, I expect professionalism and efficiency. Today, I was failed in both aspects. Please find a way to make this right.
