I had an appointment at 7am and my service rep didn't show up. John was able to assist me at 7:35am, causing me to be a half hour late to work. I told him that my check engine light was on, and that I had been driving the last couple days without a gas cap on (which I had replaced before my appointment). So most likely I just needed the engine light switched off. He plugged my car in and took me in his office where he most likely already knew the error code, but told me that I would owe $145 just to diagnose. He asked if I wanted to proceed, which I replied "I don't think I have any other option?" At that time he should have told me that I could simply drive down the street to Autozone where they could diagnose and clear the code for FREE. But he didn't, I felt very taken advantage of as a woman simply trusting in the dealership where she leases her vehicle. I trusted that I would be taken care of as if I were a family friend. I feel cheated out of my $145 and I no longer feel comfortable bringing my Jeep in for service at Airpark Jeep.
