In addition to an airbag recall, I paid for a diagnostic to find out about a strange noise on my front end. After the diag was complete which took 2 days, I wasn’t given any definitive answer by the advisor/tech to the cause of the noise, but instead basically recommended to replace the whole front end due to mileage and wear. I was verbally told about the recommendations which I declined at the time, but said I would appreciate a detailed estimate of parts labor and totals to review. I was told that would be provided when I picked up my vehicle and paid for the diag. Upon arrival, the service advisor was not there and I was not provided with the service quotes and told. I feel I paid for a service I didn’t receive. I left with no definitive answer, but the fact that I was not provided the service repair quotes which I believe is justifiable when paying for a diagnostic is unacceptable!!
