It is extremely disheartening to be writing this review but even more so the experiences I have encountered at South County Lexus. From the start of purchasing the car to my experiences within the service department I have felt taken advantage of as a young woman throughout every sexist and gender biased encounter with South County Lexus. As a younger female who is solely purchasing a car on my own, I struggled multiple times with getting a sales representative from this dealership to even assist me when I was looking at cars. It took a minimum of asking 3 times and waiting for 10 minutes to finally have one of the sales representatives to acknowledge me. When first inquiring about the Lexus RX 350, the sales rep avoided giving me any information on the brand new car I was interested in purchasing and would only discuss used Lexus NX with me. After much frustration I decided to get my father involved to help me and seeing the change in customer service and how he was treated with the upmost respect and attentiveness was so distasteful. Within 2 seconds of walking into the dealership multiple sales representatives offered their assistance.
Now to be taken advantage of as a young woman once again by South County Lexus has left me with regretting ever purchasing the vehicle. During this particular visit to the service department, nothing was ever explained in full detail and I ended up being manipulated into signing for additional add ons that I was not made aware of until being charged an absurd price when going to pick up my car. I have no problem paying for good quality service, however I have never received that here nor was I made aware of these additional charges. Tim failed to explain to me the additional add ons aside from routine maintenance that were marking up my bill for what should have been just a simple oil change along with two recalls being performed. His neglect to mention these charges ended up in me not fully knowing what was being signed until picking up my car with an additional $600 charge. When I inquired about the additional charges and informing Tim that I was not made aware of this when signing the paperwork, I was turned away until I got my father involved once again. I am beyond frustrated with my experiences with Lexus from purchasing the car to even taking it there to be serviced. I will be taking my car to a more reputable shop from now on who does not cary with it such social behaviors & biases that are offensive to women. Such a disappointment

This was a tough question. I like the staff I’ve dealt with over the 2 years Since purchasing the 2019 Ram Rebel, with platinum additional warranty. What I don’t like is the fact I took a gamble, went from being a loyal Chevy guy, to appeasing my father in law (Jerry brodeur) and switching over to Dodge/Ram. I’m doing so, I did opt to get the “bunker to bumper” platinum warranty. Within 6 months of driving the vehicle, the “leather” driver seat was showing wear and with some pulling of the strings o got you guys, not the warranty, to cover a new one. This most recent visit included a check engine light, oil change, broken gas flap, floor mat recall, worn out steering wheel (“leather”), and faulty display/screen. Although the warranty did cover the gas flap and screen, along with a 5 day car rental, neither the warranty or the dealership stepped up to cover the steering wheel. This is a 2019, $50-60k Ram Rebel. The leather is crap, along with several other items as well. And I’m told Ram (manufacturer warranty), the extended warranty or the dealership itself, refuse to cover a $500 steering wheel. I feel like this would’ve been a small investment towards retaining a customer. One that put 1/3 down on a $60k vehicle, owes somewhere around $25k, and has been eye balling the new Rebel TRX.

Original quotes were cheaper than what was charged. Them “topping off my DEF fluid” was twice as expensive as if I did it myself. No car wash at the end after spending over $700. Service advisor clueless about the actual services. They forgot to put a new next service sticker on my windshield and I didn’t notice until I had already made it home and tried to call and left a message for my service advisor and got no call back. I’m sure the work done was fine but just kinda got the feel that this place was all about the $ with little care of the customer. Good thing there’s plenty of ram service departments in the area. Will not be going back to this location.
