I was extremely happy with how things were progressing during my purchase of my new vehicle. I had my pre-approval documents in hbd to speed things along. I was very clear with the salesman assisting me that I was being financed through Capital One Auto Finance so he did not need to look any further. I knew what I was dealing with credit wise because I had just recently had a bankruptcy discharged. I am slowly rebuilding my credit and did not need all of those hard inquiries on my report. Unfortunately, he did not listen to my wishes and took it upon himself to try to get me a “better” financial deal. If I was not worried about it, then he shouldn’t have been. Now I have 5 additional hard inquires on my credit report that will take a year or two to fall off thanks to Bakersfield Hyundai.
