Very happy with pro-active Joe was in getting a claim to cover the costs for my tire replacement. It caught me completely by surprise and am super grateful. I need to make sure that the automatic transmission fluid level is proper as my transmission occasionally isn’t able to shift from park to drive (I shift the lever, but the transmission is stuck in neutral) . This is a simple operation - there is a bolt that needs to be removed and a finger stuck into the hole to see if the fluid comes up to the hole. I’ve been denied this simple test every time I’ve asked with the statement that this is a sealed transmission... sure, until it isn’t!
The inability of the Lexus service department to perform this simple test does not inspire confidence in doing any other work that has been recommended... I’ll likely seek an outside garage to do this work.
