We are new Lexus owners and this week was the first service for our vehicle. We bought the car in February 2020 the week before California went into shelter in place for the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then we have only put on 3400+ miles on the car as it sat in our garage for a majority of that time until now. Our family is very cautious with COVID-19 safety and did not feel comfortable bringing our car in to have other people inside it. Ben informed me that since we have had the car for over a year, we missed that service and would need to do the 10,000 mile - even though we were just over 3400 miles. We are not happy that upon our very first visit to Lexus that this is the decision that was made. The dealership could have easily done the 5,000 service and reserved the 10,000 for a later date. Nearly every business made accommodations due to the pandemic but it is a shame to see this is how Lexus is handling this.

Mario should have updated Lexus service within 24hrs after we brought our car in or even that evening. Kent, previous service consultant, was prompt in that matter. Why do we have to follow up at our end.We had wheel Alignment done at Putnam Lexus last November with 50105 miles. Now with 51599 miles, inspection Result caution recommends wheel alignment. Isn’t there Warranty for your service done previously. Mario afterwards follow up and keep us informed Later.
