Picking up the car was pretty painful.
The pick up driver showed up an hour late, very likely wouldn't have showed up at all if I hadn't called asking where he was half an hour after the agreed upon time. And when I was finally at the dealer to pick up the car the two other customers in front of me caused a good half an hour of additional delay.
The major reason I got rid of my Toyota and got a Lexus was to get proper treatment at the service appointments instead of this torture. Sad to see the pandemic was used as an excuse to deteriorate the service customer experience to such levels. Whatever happened to getting a loner car without any questions asked? Lexus ownership being a privilege?

The recent service at Lexus was exceptional because of Fred Young. My car had extensive damage due to mice nesting under the hood and it required ~$8,000 worth of repairs. Fred did an amazing job helping me navigate through the process with my insurance company (which I was super stressed about!) and later coordinating the repair with my insurance company.
