I am very disappointed with the customer service here. I had nearly $200 in the car and when the service was done, my money was gone. I brought to their attention immediately and was told they will need to do an investigation. However I have not received any follow up. I will be contacting the headquarters and filing a police report.

This is really a comment about the car’s design rather than about the service, but I was really surprised about the cost and difficulty of replacing the low-beam headlight on my 2006 RX400h. Bulbs used to be an easy do-it-yourself job that I’ve done on several cars over the years. This one cost 195 for the bulb (probably the bulb assembly, since I doubt it was only a light) and another 145 for the labor to change it. On the good side, I don’ think I recall ever having to replace one, which means this one lasted for many years, and the other one is still going.

Nice man but opened and then slammed shut (dropped from fully opened) my hood after “checking to see if there were any critters under there”. Maybe a new requirement but in 20 years of owning a Lexus a service rep has never added that to a pre-service inspection.
