My Tacoma was in for recall service on 7/8 and 7/20. On the 7/20 visit, there were two items listed on my invoice as “work recommended but not performed”. I would have opted to have the work performed had I been told about it on the phone, but I wasn’t. Furthermore, one of the items, a cracked drive belt, was checked off as green on the multipoint inspection from 7/8. To me, that doesn’t make sense to go from green to needing replaced within that short of a time frame (and about 120 miles). These issues have eroded my trust in Frontier Toyota’s service department. Particularly recommended work, that needs to be communicated to the customer before pickup.
