I originally brought my car in on October 28, 2020 for an oil change and car play to be installed. While there Lily told me there was a recall on my car so they will just fix that too. I mentioned I thought that was strange because I usually get a notice in the mail for recalls. She told me it was the fuel line... I told her since I was there to go ahead and fix it.. Lily made a mistake and didn’t realize that the recall just came out and they didn’t have the part... 3.5 hrs later they told me my car was ready... it wasn’t... it reeked of gasoline!!! Lily then went into speak to Frank ****the Service Director who apologized to me saying Lily didn’t see the message about not to take any recalls for fuel lines since they don’t have parts. I have chronic acute asthma so I could not step foot into my car as the gasoline was too strong. Frank advised me I cannot drive my car and they will get me a rental. They did. He said not to worry that they will detail my car out when I get it back and there will be no gas smell. Long story short... April 15, 2021 I picked up my car after 4.5 months!!! It was filthy!! It was not detailed out, it even had grease on the back seats!!! I told Lily this is unacceptable! She acted annoyed with me then went into Frank who told me to bring the car back for the detail. I did. Left my car there for a full day. Lily called me at 4:50pm that it was ready. I get there at 5:10pm and she’s packing up to leave. My car arrives and it was NOT detailed!!! Maybe they took it through a quick wash... interior was not cleaned, tires were not cleaned and the car had bird poop stained on the plastic coating on the hood. I saw Lily before she actually left and showed her. She had another service guy come look and he said to me he was sorry and this was unacceptable! They told me to come back in the morning. I did. Frank ****and Ruben Franco (service manager) both looked at it and said they need me to leave my car for 2 days for a good detail. I said ok. I brought my car back and left it for 2 days. I got the call it was ready to be picked up at 3:00pm. I arrived and Lily was leaving saying she had to pick up kids. She said to go check out and my car will be brought out.
My car arrives. THERE WAS STILL BIRD POOP STAINS ON THE HOOD!!
I saw that Ruben was in his office so I asked him to come out to look at the car. He gave me an attitude right away!!! He said that it is baked on bird poop and it can’t be removed and the only way is to replace the plastic. I said my car did not have bird poop when I dropped it off on October 28 and it was there when I got it back on April 15! He said the garage is clean and bird free and did not happen there. I told him it had too. The outside of my car was clean when I dropped it off! He then proceeded to say he will have to talk to Frank and get back to me. I told him my car was in there hands for almost 5 months and they need to take care of this. He just kept giving me attitude. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with Toyota!!! This was not my fault or doing. Still waiting to hear back.
