My experience with the Ken Grody Ford Service department was incredibly bad.
I took my vehicle there to get the fuel tested because someone poured something into my gas tank and fouled up my fuel system to where the vehicle has no power and shuts off under a load.
My insurance adjuster and I were both told my your representative Miguel Alvarez Pacheco that this was something your service department was capable of doing. Several days later I got a call from Miguel trying to get me to authorize a long list of supposed repairs that my vehicle needed. I asked him if he had tested the fuel, the only thing he was authorized to do at that time, to find out what caused all the supposed problems, and he told me they had looked at the fuel, as if a visual inspection was good enough to determine what was poured in to my tank. When I refused the repairs he then called my insurance company and told the claims adjuster that the only way they could test the fuel is if all the supposed repairs needed were done. " WHAT?" LIE NUMBER TWO. When my insurance called to tell me what he told them I got furious and whent to talk to Miguel. Miguel was not available when I arrived and I spoke with someone in your service department who told me they/Ken Grody had no capabilities to test the fuel in my vehicle. I demanded to speak with the person in charge and was told they were not available and if I could wait a few minutes Miguel would return to speak to me. When Miguel showed up, I asked him again if he had the fuel tested in my vehicle and he again told me they looked at it.
I told him there's no way visual inspection of the fuel could not determine what contaminated my fuel system. I asked him why he lied to me and to my insurance adjuster about being able to test the fuel. He offered no answer to my question. I then asked him why he lied to me and to my insurance adjuster about needing to perform all the supposed repairs my vehicle needed before the fuel could be tested, he offered no answer to that question either. It is obvious to me he was trying to rip me and or my insurance company off for the repairs he said my vehicle needed. To tell me that the fuel testing could not be performed until the repairs were completed was an outright lie. A lie believed by my insurance adjuster because she has no mechanical background. I however worked in the field for over forty years.
It is appalling to me he would lie twice then try to rip me and or my insurance off. I asked Miguel for the name and phone number to the person running your service department and was provided; Debbie Buzieki at extension #1297.
I haven't decided yet where I'm going to go with this incredibly dishonest behavior on the part of your fore mentioned employee.
I have not had an opportunity to speak with Debbie Buzieki on this mater yet but will make time to do so in the next couple of days.
I would like to know what the Ken Grody Dealer is going to do to make this rite.
