Thanks to Jacob for not letting the warranty slip by during my recent VW p-zev turbo repair. I appreciated the attention!

Ryan was not very communicable. He never relayed the message to me unless I called him first to ask what was going on. I constantly got answers of oh some people were out on funeral leave. Some people were out sick. I kept getting different answers every time I called. I contacted the service manager and relayed my unsatisfactory communication with Ryan. Ryan finally called me back the next day after me talking with the service manager. He said my car would be going in next to be fixed. The next day Ryan contacted me and told me that they cracked the timing cover when taking things off to get to the water pump he said oh it’s only $149 more like I’m made of money. I asked Ryan how much it would cost to have an oil change done he reiterated $119.00. I then told him I would not do that now! I did not want to spend that much on an oil change. Then to my dissatisfaction when I picked up my car and got home, I noticed I was charged for an oil change. When I go back to Bangor, I will contact him regarding this issue so I considered very unsatisfactory service with Ryan and do not choose to use him again at this point.

Cooper handled our issues with professionalism and demonstrated knowledge by showing us and explaining to us the functions we had questions about.

I’ve been completely satisfied with Darling’s service on my 2014 VW Jetta for the past 4-5 years. The experience I had yesterday was just unacceptable. I arrived five minutes before my noon appointment. My car was moved to the back lot and sat there for just shy of three hours before being moved into the shop for repairs. The mechanic worked on my car for only one hour forty-five minutes. The labor reflected on the bill was for the exact estimate for a three hour job. As if waiting for nearly five hours wasn’t enough to upset me, Jacky seemed unaware of the situation and shrugged off my attempts to explain the errors while trying to justify the overcharge for labor. This was uncharacteristic of Jacky. What’s going on with Darling’s service department ???

Jacob was a delight to work with. Professional and communicative. I would however appreciate determining why I continue to receive emails telling me I missed my scheduled appointment.

Jeff was great. Personable and friendly. Everything was done in a timely manner and he even washed it for me. Great work!
