Shacoya was completely professional & is awesome to work with. I’ve dealt with her before with my Accord & have always been satisfied with her. You have a keeper with her.
My only issue I’ve had is from my last appointment & it’s with Honda itself. I was to have my Accord Touring's LED DRL replaced. Mine was under warranty because I only have 17000 miles on it, but after doing some research I found that this is a common problem. So much so that some people have had their Accord’s fail safety inspection because of their states strict safety guidelines. (If you have a light out you fail) Many of thes vehicles were just beyond the 36/36000 warranty. So I guess my concern about this is, why would Honda not cover this for its customers if there’s such a common problem & the option is listed as a SAFETY FEATURE on the cars invoice? At the price of $1250 I feel that’s a pricey expense to have to fork out for a vehicle( and sometimes for both headlights) for a vehicle that has 50000 miles or less. Why wouldn’t Honda figure out what’s the problem, fix the problem, then issue a recall or replace the headlight units at a reduced cost. Honestly, this has made me think of never buying a Honda again. Selling mine & buying a Toyota or some other brand where I wouldn’t have to worry about this problem. Look I love my Honda, but I love it because of its reputation of being the most dependable & affordable car to own. It’s not seeming to be the case to me at all. Just wanted to share my thoughts on this & why I’m at it let me mention the $300 per tire on the touring Accord’s. Seems a little pricey to me. I’m sure there’s a bit more cheaper priced tire that’s of the same quality as the Continental tires used that you could’ve used. I shutter at what it’s gonna cost to maintain my Accord in the future & I bought a GOLD PACKAGE extended warranty from my dealership. Well thank you for letting me to express my concerns & I hope to see some changes in how Honda produces their cars in the future. With thoughts of getting back to being a car company that care about their customers wallets & makes good dependable & affordable vehicles.
I think William is a great service advisor. I actually messed up my appointment, I called Hendrick Honda at South Blvd and negotiated price for my service assuming I had called in dealership at Concord. When I came in William honored the price even though at that point even I hadn't realized that I had called up wrong dealership the earlier day.
I am extremely pleased with the way William handled my service and will definitely come back to Willliam for any future service needs.
