Chris Collins was more than respectful and I enjoyed dealing with him as his customer service skills are excellent. However, I received a “recall notice” in the mail, called my nearest dealership for service in advance. At my appointment I was notified that one recalled part was on back order and would be there within a few days. Those few days passed, I called to check progress of service and was notified that the parts were on back order until further notice. So after a few weeks notice for appointment and 5 days sitting at the Acura dealship I’m still without a proper part and should be grateful that I wasn’t charged a storage fee as an Acura respresentive explained to me. All of this could of been prevented if the original respresentive asked for car information and notified me that the a part was on back order. Instead of being worried about a storage fee I should of been driving around in a new model Acura being talked into buying a new one. Coming from someone who has a tremendous amount of customer service experience, although your representatives are friendly they are not trying to promote more sales and are definitely not there to satisfy the customer- whether buying a new car or bringing one in for service, which a recall is beyond owners control.
He could have been a little professional. He has been great in the past. Just hoping I caught him on a bad day.
