I’ve had my car there on a few different occasions. This time for a transmission fluid change. I also had the techs look into my drivers side window switch, again. And a vibration while braking, again. I was told two times that there was nothing wrong with the driver side switch. The window, at times, will not roll up without a fight. There is clearly something wrong. This time it was acknowledged that something is wrong and ordered one to be installed on Friday. As for the vibration. I was told and have in writing on one of the reports from Northeast Acura that the vibration was being caused by the rear rotors. I had the rear brakes and rotors replaced. Did not fix the vibration. This time I’m being told it’s the front rotors. Why bring my car to you guys when I can guess and replace unnecessary items?? I spent money to replace the rear brakes and rotors when that wasn’t the problem, even though the technicians at Northeast Acura claimed that to be the problem. I’m not sure if I should bring my car somewhere to get a second opinion?? For the record, my experience this past time was good. Past times, not good. In fact, I contacted Shearer Acura and thought about biting the bullet and taking a trip to Burlington. I’m not sure why such a disconnect between the mechanics and whoever writes the report but because of that disconnect, I spent unnesecarry money to replace items that did not need to be replaced. The gentleman I dealt with this past time was great, very helpful and easy to deal with.
The service team at NE Acura is absolutely the best in the industry. They are the reason I bought another Acura. I will never go anywhere else.
