I had an 11am appointment with Paloma. I get there at 10:58, a young checks the computer and says you have an appointment with Paloma she’ll be right out. I waited about 5 minutes with no contact from Paloma. I go back towards the service window thinking if she sees me she will come out. She looked at me and continued walking around behind the counter. I asked the young man who greeted me and he said it should only be a few more minutes. So I wait to get my vehicle checked in. While I’m waiting someone with an appointment who’s vehicle was having problems pulled into the service area. While I’m still waiting to get checked in this car was able to talk to an associate, the associate drove their car around the block to hear the problem and also get a quote and decide to leave. All while I had and appointment and still haven’t even got a hello or even eye contact from Paloma. After waiting for 30 minutes I had enough And asked the young man can someone else check me because I’ve been waiting for over 30 minutes. A few minutes later Paloma comes to me says how can help you? I told her I have a 11am appointment and you can help me by checking this car in. She never introduced herself to me, didn’t tell me sorry for the wait. Just started writing on her paper. Based on my check in experience with Paloma, Cerritos Nissan fails and I would not consider coming back. I had something I need to do that day. I thought I would be able to check my car in at 11am and take an Uber really fast for a meeting, but instead I missed the meeting because I wasn’t checked in for 34 minutes after my APPOINTMENT TIME. Why was I checked in 34 minutes after my scheduled time? Why were other people able to be scene without an appointment before me with a appointment? If, and a big if because I watched for a little bit. If Paloma was busy for the full 34 minutes why couldn’t she use some communication and greet me, tell me it’s going to be a few minutes. Or why couldn’t she communicate with her fellow employees and ask one of them to help me since she knew how much time had passed. Or maybe why couldn’t she just multi task and break away from whatever she was doing check my car and go back to what she was doing? I mean after I waited the 34 minutes the check in of my car only took about 3-4 minutes then someone drove my car to the back where the work gets done. If the check in so fast with no Communication to the customer why make me wait over 30 minutes. I will not do business here at Nissan Cerritos any longer. I will find another Nissan dealer not associated with Cerritos Nissan to support. Yes this is based off of me waiting over 30 minutes passed my APPOINTMENT to be checked in. It’s based off no communication from the associate when I finally get contact with her. It’s based on nobody else in the area not noticing that Paloma wasn’t helping and choosing to be team player and do her work for her. It’s based off an online appointment schedule system that mean absolutely nothing after you make an appointment. You can have a 11am appointment but the workers want to stand around talking about other customers and eat breakfast sandwiches then you will wait until they are done because obviously Cerritos Nissan feels like I’m on their time. Honor the appointment times. I don’t care what’s going on, if a customer has a scheduled appointment you make sure they are seen and checked in on time because there’s probably a reason why they made the appointment time. Like they have things to do. Paloma fails, the team that seen me standing around and decided not to help fails, the ones passing out or eating breakfast sandwiches fail. Cerritos Nissan fails.

Brian does excellent work, but your customer service is the worse I never seen, when I call they answer once, than or they hang up on you or the call to service department is never answered, the is a shame on your service, thanks

Tony answered all of my questions. I didn't feel like I asked a stupid question. He made me feel happy that I decided to bring my car in for routine servicing. Technical proficiency is the main reason that anyone chooses where to have their car serviced. However, a positive attitude and a smile makes everyone have a better day and will keep me coming back. Thank you, Tony Fears, for my good day at Cerritos Nissan.
