Wash the car.

Consistently get excellent service with plenty of explanations that MAKE SENSE. Courtesy is always prevalent during visits an conversations...the reason I owned 18 Volvo.

No car wash after service disappointing

I am completely dissatisfied with the entire experience at McGrath volvo. We were misled about the vehicle we purchased, misled about the touch ups it needed, its tires, brakes etc... this was supposed to be a volvo "certified" vehicle, yet when I drove the car for the first time on the second day we owned it, i could tell the rotors were warped when I applied the brakes, and it needed an alignment. We put approximately 6000 miles on the vehicle since we purchased it. We live 6.5 hrs away, otherwise I would have driven it right back the next day. We were told the vehicle had brand new tires on it, only to find out the tread depth was 5/32, 6/32, up front, and 7/32, and 8/32 in the rear. Amazing how that can happen in 6000 miles???? Also for a "certified" car to need new brake pads up front within that time frame? Unreal. My wife was also told that her subscription to the volvo ap would start once the vehicle computer was updated, only to have the service manager advise her that it started on the day of purchase, and now we only have it for free for 9 months instead of a full year as promised. I feel we were lied to repeatedly just to sell us a vehicle that day. I forgot to mention that we were told that you wouldnt even be able to see the repairs done on the "touch ups" laughable. They were touched up with paint, and buffed. Still completely visible. The only portion of the car that was even cleaned was one of the spots to be repaired. I took a day off work to drive down, so did my wife, and feel it was a complete waste of time. David M

I arrived and she asked if I was Going to wait. I was a bit confused as she was the one I spoke to on the phone and I told her I would need a loaner. A rental was provided but then I had an expired proof of insurance card. I advised it would be wise to explain what is needed to take out a loaner prior to the customer arriving. Luckily my husband was able to email me a copy.

She did an excellent job getting the software upgrade done within the hour as promised. She was very respectful of social distancing and was very professional in her attitude.
