disappointed with the delay in supply pipeline which left my Forester without air conditioning during the two hottest weeks of the year thus far. Interactions with service advisor were always great, and I realize that this was a "Subaru problem", not a dealership problem. The Forester is my "go to" vehicle which I enjoy very much.

One thing that I am wondering about- when we stared the car up after bringing it home the Service Warning (due in 1000 miles )came on- we thought the service today covered that and that the warning would go away ??

Bobby was fine today. My unhappiness stems from the 5 months it took between my receipt of the air bag recall notice from VW to the actual replacement today. At no point did I feel that this was an issue having much of any priority. I had to make several calls to obtain dealership info and try to move the process along. Even this morning, after being assured I’d be called, it was me who had to call to confirm that the air bag was in stock. In short, while I have had many years of good general service experiences, this one was a clear disappointment.

Joseph did a fine job servicing my requirements. That said, the explanation for the reason I asked the car to be looked at is difficult to accept. My new Impreza has never attained 21 mpg. The last reading was 18.2. And the reason? Not until I drive 10k miles will I see improvement. I am having a tough time accepting this.
