Made an appointment for 7:30 said when I made it that I was going to wait one simple recall repair that should take 20 minutes and I was there for 3 hours and 45 minutes. Ever again at this shop. I will buy another Subaru because it is a great car, but I will drive to San Diego or El Cajon to buy it and service it. Never again at Bob Baker

Tanner has been extremely helpful through the whole process I’ve been going through with this car (part my fault, part used car fault). I am very lucky that I had the opportunity to deal with him. He was very understanding and helped me get everything fixed. He made sure I was completely satisfied and, recognizing that I just bought the car about two months ago, he approved a goodwill for something that was no longer covered by a warranty. Well, I'm not even sure where to start. The staff was nice. I just went in for a 10k service which was supposed to take two hours. They added a recall repair without notifying me and the whole thing ended up taking 3 hours. I knew about the recall, and I planned to schedule it another day because I had plans for the rest of the day.
After I got the car back, I drove about half a mile from the dealership before I realized that the "maintenance" notification wasn't reset. I had to go back to the dealership for them to go through a process to reset it. The service advisor didn't know how to reset it, so he had to drive it back to the garage for a mechanic to reset it.
Then I drove away again, and I got about 1.5 miles from the dealership before my TPMS light came on. I just did a u-turn back to the dealership. This time, the service advisor was able to reset the TPMS.
So I knew about the oil change, filter changes, tire rotation, and the inspection, but I also got charged $40 for some fuel line cleaner. Nowhere on VW's site can I find any recommendation of some fuel line cleaner. I don't think this is the fuel injection cleaning where you hook up the injectors to a machine. I presume that this is some liquid additive. Anyways, it seems a bit much for an additive, plus the fact that it wasn't mentioned before the service was performed.
I'll probably just drive through Jiffy Lube next time.
