When I asked for more details about why one bad igniter could cause both my head lights to be out I was told there's just one igniter (there are two). I asked if the igniter was a computer controller for the lights and I was told "yes it is" (it's not really a controller or a computer from what I understand, it simply provides a high enough voltage to get the lights going, the ballast actually keeps them running). When telling me about the igniter my service advisor was pointing to the ballast. I asked if these things could be replace individually. He told me they could not, and that its an entire package. Which is not true. I can buy just a lamp. Just an igniter. Just a ballast. Its extremely frustrating to have someone making up answers when they just don't know - not knowing is perfectly acceptable. Tell me you don't know and grab the tech who can actually answer my questions. I took the time and was willing to spend the money at your dealership so I could have two working headlights and not have to do all this research and troubleshooting myself. I left not feeling confident that my $160 diagnosis actually told me anything useful. This turned out to be a total waste of my time and my money. The report said driver side ignitor was "inoperable". But both headlights can turn on initially, but eventually both turn off, which leads me to believe the ignitors both work. I'd be happy to understand how this could still be indicative of a bad ignitor but at this point I'm loosing trust in the information I'm getting from your service department. If anything this sounds like two bad ballasts. Or maybe just as simple as two bad bulbs. Unfortunately I don't trust the $160 diagnosis I have in my hand. So at this point I'm more likely to troubleshoot this on my own. As an aside. I asked about what are apparently called "flash to pass" lights, the two incandescent lights next to my HID head lights. I was told they are my high beams, and that the reason they don't turn on is because of the bad igniter. Everything I've been able to find tell me these are not high beams, and that they are expected to only light up when my lights are off and I flash my brights. Which is what they do, but my service advisor was amendment that they were my high beams, and they weren't working because of the broken igniter. Please please please, let your people know its okay not to know all the answers. What is important is knowing how to find the right answer.

My car was supposed to be ready by 11:30am. I didn’t even get a courtesy call that you were running behind. I didn’t get my car back until 1:40pm. Very disrespectful to my time. My breaks also still squeak and quite frankly I don’t want to “press on my brakes really hard” to make the squeaking go away., I’ve spent to much money to have to do that.

They didn’t vacuum inside my vehicle like they told me. And they did make inside of my vehicle greasy all over again. They need to be more careful with customers who have the interior color white. Every time I bring my vehicle in for service it ALWAYS got greasy inside my car.

I wish you still did wash and vacuum of service customer’s cars. I’m sure you still wash new/used car deliveries. Yes I received a Kaady car wash coupon but that is another trip, and no vacuum.

This service was perfect. Our 20,000 sevirce was good with the exception of rotating the tires. I requested it being done at drop off. Upon picking up, the tech told me they were rotated. After some time, the tire light came on and when checking the tire pressure I noticed the tires were never rotated due to the excessive ware. This caused more ware on the front tires than was necessary. This will definitely cause me to o have to buy tires much earlier that needed.

I have always been a Volkswagen owner and it is mostly because of the people. Everything from sales, service, and the people that support the product. The hannah dealer is no exception. I have owned everything from a 1960's bugs to mk2 golf's mk3 Jettas mk4 golfs. My 2016 passat experience is no different.
