First I would like to say that your service department employees are some of the most helpful and knowledgeable staff that I have had the pleasure of working with when came to have my car service on. I’ve been coming to your dealership sine 2012 and had 3 cars service by them. Gary has always been very helpful with my needs on my car. I wish there were more people like him in this industry who cares about their customers.

Everyone at **** Hannah Volkswagen was a big help and super friendly. I really appreciated the communication about the software and initial problem and how quickly everything was reported for the claim, for the recall. All of that really helped. I needed that asap and was headed for California so my Dad could gift me the car, so I had a strict deadline. Thank you again so much you guys are great!!

The problem began when I asked the service technician to please document the fact my Jetta has beeb using oil since new. He said there is no place to do this. He resisted. He instructed me that I would have to wait until the oil light came on again, this would be the fourth time and then bring it back to him so they could measure how much oil was missing. I understood completely what he was saying and said that to him. but I also told him I didnt think he understood my concern of not documenting the continued and increasing oil consumtion since the car was new. The car now has 21,000 miles on it and there is zero documentation that it is using oil. ( until I had heated words with your service guy today) He told me there was no indication it is using oil because the light is not on. I already explained to him I added a measured amount of oil and had the oil with me That I purchased at the VW dealer in Olympia. I explained to him I have added three times since the car was new and I told him exactly how much and when. At the first service appointment after the car was new I was told this is a normal part of engine break in. The second service appointment I was told it would be documented, I believed him and left without checking, later to find out it was not documented. So this time I thought I had better say something and make sure it was noted. He still resisted to document it! He explained to me again how I would have to bring the car in while the check oil light is on. I told him I would be happy to do that but I would still like it documented at some point that this engine is using oil since new. I also expressed I thought it was silly to drive the car with a check engine oil light on. In the unlikely event of a catastrophic oil loss. I can’t imagine Volkswagon warrantee would like that action at all. Seems like negligence as a driver to me. After An embarrassing heated exchange in front of other people he then agreed to document it which he did. Although incorrectly, he did it. I don’t believe this is a proper course of action that you would prefer your service technician to adopt with very well established repeat customer of yours. This is the kind of conflict that simply will make me purchase my next Volkswagon anywhere else but at your dealership.
