The service dept said the reason the phones would not work (be tecognized) was due to a cheap, China cable and that we should get our cellphone company to recommend a replacement. The cable they saw WAS from the cellphone company, it came with the phone AND has only been used recently as I only recently took it out of the box. I told them I had another in the center compartment which was longer and actually is a higher quality cable. It was never looked at as far as I can tell from the paperwork. I feel that a shortcut was taken by saying it was the fault of anything other than the Honda product. That is an absolutely BS answer. I am a retired master electrician and have made cables for all kinds of electronic devices and have been called into court several times for expert testimony. The problem on your side is your techs depend too much on the plug in devices to tell them what is wrong. I always did it differently. I figured that if there was a problem, FIND THE REASON.I always did, why can't you?
