I was told my vehicle was going to be done the same day I dropped it off. I received a voicemail late in the afternoon from Joe, who was talking so fast I could not understand him. I called the following day and spoke to Joe. He advised me the part was damaged in shipping and he would have it finished for me Monday. Meanwhile, I was scrambling to find rides to and from work. He then asked if I was in a loner car. I advised him I was not. He said I needed to get to the dealership before 5, which I couldn't since I had to ride with someone else. He then told me to go to the collision center Saturday morning. I went to the collision center and saw the days of operation were Monday through Friday. I asked an employee who was outside and he advised me to go to the cashier, who then referred me to the service center. After being shuffled all around I was finally placed in a loner vehicle. Monday came and there was no update. I called and was advised that they replaced the part, but now my steering wheel only turns right. I advised Joe that was not an issue when the vehicle was brought in. Joe then began stammering and said they were working to fix it. Fast forward to Thursday and I call in the morning. Joe said the part had just been delivered right before I called. Hard to believe, but that's what he said. So, I was told again, my car would be ready. This time, my car was finally done. Moral of the story, something that should have taken less than a day took a week. Please find out what your service department is doing, because it sounds like it isnt work. I have had wonderful service there in the past, but after this, I doubt I will be returning. Thoroughbred Ford is right up 152, I don't mind driving an additional 10 min to someone who will keep their word.

I appreciate the excellent efforts and customer service I received. However I still hear and feel vibration in steering wheel of something in drive train. Being a 30 year industrial mechanic trained in bearing vibration I am very trained in a problem in the system. I am not complaining of service rendered, I was treated excellent. But, I would like it in record that something isn’t right in drive train and my warrantee is about to expire. Beings I have brought this issue up during my 4000$ warrantee I wish it be covered when it’s effect becomes evedent to Ford maintenance employees. I STILL feel vibration and know my vehicle. It’s new and increasing. My first Ford, I hope not my last. I am a professional maintenance man, and accept this locations experienced shop foreman. But he missed the main cause of growling and vibration fixing one cause in the hubs. Thank you for asking. Please put this on record that I - I mean I still detect a vibration and noise that is abnormal to a correct vehicle. Please make note. Thanks. Steve
