I left the car at 11 a.m. for a pick up next day. I expected a follow-up next morning. Steve apparently did not come to work next day, however. No one has called or followed up with me until 2 p.m. I called a general service number and was told that I could pick up anytime after 2:30. I arrived a little after 4. Paperwork was still not ready. Kathy Riley had to find an advisor to prepare paperwork and print out. I was a little frustrated with not having my advisor explain the service rendered to me and all that wait. Kathy was great though. She handled my frustration with a professional and pleasant attitude. I can understand something like this could happen. Just wanted to let you know that Kathy made it up for me. My experience started by waiting for 15 minutes for Stephen to meet with me and the lack of status updates was problematic. I needed to call to find out about the service to find out the status. I was underwhelmed by the experience that I expect from Mercedes.

While we have seen sales-people come and go at Marin MB since 2002 when we purchased our first MB, and we met Eliseo. He is the reason why we keep buying MB's from Marin MB, versus other dealers. Eliseo is a high functioning communicator and has high emotional intelligence. He is a trustworthy person.
Might I suggest a question when customers, particularly repeat customers are buying MBs at MaringMB, how much is your purchase decision influenced by your Service Consultant? Then ask, what's the name of your Service Consultant. If both are positive, give the Service Consultant 50% of the sales commission or more. Our purchase of the 2014 E350 had nothing to do with the salesperson and we talked with multiple sales people until we got clear info. I checked with Eliseo about E 350 before we purchased it.
