My brand new Dodge Journey does not automatically shift until it reaches 6.5 RPMs. Was told this is "normal." I have had the car one week and already had to take it in for service, and nothing was fixed. I also had questions about my new car that nobody could answer. "How can I remove the drivers side headrest and how do I turn off the automatic dimmer on my mirror?" Nobody was able to figure it out. It is bewildering that the car dealership where I purchased my vehicle does not have knowledge of my type of car and how it works. Yasha was extremely nice, very polite. When he did not know the answers, he enlisted help from the Service Manager, who was also extremely nice. When the Service Manager could not figure why the car was shifting at an "abnormally" high RPM, he kept the car an extra day so he could talk to the transmission guy. First I was told "This is not normal. We will get it fixed for you." But it was not fixed because apparently the transmission guy said all Dodge Journey's shift at 6.5 RPMs. Yasha even offered to show me in a new car right from the lot. MY car is BRAND NEW, right from the lot a week ago! Clearly there is an issue, perhaps with all of the Journeys. I am disappointed that I needed to bring my brand new car in for service one week after I bought it. I am more disappointed that nothing was fixed. This is my first experience with a Dodge (I drove a Honda for the past 10 years.) It is disheartening to realize that this is "just the way it is. All Journey's do this." I love my new car but I now live in constant fear of blowing up the engine. I have to constantly manually remove my foot from the gas pedal to insure the RPMs don't get higher than 5 or 6. Even though I was told 6.5 RPM shifting was "normal" for this car, I know it is NOT normal. Driving my car is no longer fun because I am constantly worried.

They did a great job. Thank you for the reminder call of my appointment I forgot until I got the reminder call. I drop the the night before the appointment and they caled me the next morning just to let me know that they are taking a look at the jeep and will call me to let me know what they find. They called me later that day to let me know the car was ready and they also texted me. Excellent communication. Thank you.

Took three days to get my jeep back from service. Also took forever to pick up my jeep due to the service reps having a meeting at 4 pm in the afternoon over some issues they were having servicing their customers. Everything time I take my jeep to get service here I know it's going to be an adventure. This is the third time this has happen and their looks like their no signs of improving the issue they have. My service rep Jeff was kind and friendly but he can only do so much. The guys servicing the cars take forever and lose track of which cars they are working on. The check out person this time was good but last time she was lost in the sauce and took me over an hour to get a rental car from the dealership.

i was sent a e mail acknowledging that my dodge challenger was there and i would receive a call when it is finished. i replied with a question and never received a answer. if you want to send a email with no feed back please say so. james did a great job, the car runs as before, and as far as i can tell no leaks. thanks much, arnold

The entire experience was professional and stress free. I was given a loaner car, the service took less than 3 hours and the result is excellent. Madison at the cashier desk was very pleasant, well informed, and very efficient. The loaner car was clean and mechanically sound. All-in-all this was one of the better service experiences I have had.
