I received a letter regarding several recalls. I called to schedule an appointment and specifically provided the recall codes from the letter when I requested an appointment for April. I made sure to provide the codes since the previous time I scheduled an appointment and the car was seen in San Jose in February for other recall items the seat belts could not be fixed since the parts were not available. Upon being informed that if I dropped off my vehicle before 9am it would be ready for pick up at noon - I proceeded to schedule. I specifically said I could NOT drop it off after 1pm because it would not be ready until after 4pm which is too late for me. I received a confirmation text that appointment was in March not April. Upon dropping off my vehicle we were informed we were in “luck” since the seat belt part is not usually available but was sent to Mountain View California by accident therefore would be placed in my car. How was this luck when I called to schedule an appointment and specifically mentioned the recall codes that needed to be rectified? I should have been told that parts were not available over the phone! We left our vehicle and were informed it would be ready by noon and were promised our car would be washed as well. Our car was not ready until the following day AFTER 3pm. 30 hours later. There was no car wash but a message was left that the wipers and filters needed replacement. Our car is still under the Hyundai warranty of oil changes and basic maintenance therefore I believe for the inconvenience of taking 30 hours, filters could have been replaced. It was horribly inconvenient and Daniel simply blamed everyone while giving himself credit that nothing would have been done if he hadn’t stepped in to resolve the issue.

Benny Gomez was an outstanding service advisor. He went above and beyond to resolve a misunderstanding about my pre-paid maintenance. Much appreciated! However, I have two technical concerns: While driving home, I noticed a loud buzzing from the fan. Following the owner's manual to access the cabin filter, I found two nut husks inside the blower motor, likely dropped in during the filter change. I also noticed the glove compartment support rod was missing, presumably left out after the same service. I have photo documentation of both issues upon request.

After a bad experience at the San Bruno service center, I was extra appreciative of how kind, careful, and efficient they were in Mountain View. Daniel went out of his way to fit my car in and make me feel welcome. Everyone was so nice and they did an excellent job fixing my car!
