I brought my Hyundai Palisade to the service center because the rear right ventilated seat button was stuck.
When I explained the issue, the service advisor immediately pressed the button and claimed it felt sticky, asking whether we had spilled any liquid on it. I clearly told him that I did not notice any stickiness and that no liquid had been spilled, especially since the surrounding controls were functioning perfectly fine.
A few minutes later, he returned and said they could not currently find any sticky substance, but warned me that if they opened it up and discovered any liquid, I would be responsible for diagnostic charges, repairs, and replacement costs because Hyundai would not cover it. This was frustrating because they were already making assumptions without confirming the actual issue.
When I asked why I should agree to pay before they even properly diagnosed whether it was a warranty issue, he continued implying that liquid damage may have occurred. At that point, I mentioned that while I have kids and cannot guarantee every possibility, I had no reason to believe there was any spill, and I did not appreciate being treated as though I had caused the issue without evidence.
Initially, I declined the repair because the communication was unclear and felt accusatory. Later, he clarified that I would not automatically be charged for opening it, and they would ask for approval before proceeding further. Based on that, I agreed.
However, after the service was completed, there was no proper explanation, no update on what was actually inspected, whether parts were ordered, whether the issue was covered under warranty, or what the next steps were. I was simply handed my keys and sent on my way.
To make matters worse, when I checked my vehicle, both rear seat components had been left tossed into the back seat and unhooked. If they needed to remove them for inspection, that is understandable, but leaving the interior in disarray without explanation or proper reassembly is completely unacceptable.
Overall, this was one of the poorest service experiences I have had:
- Poor communication
- Premature assumptions about customer fault
- Lack of transparency regarding warranty coverage
- No proper service follow-up
- Vehicle returned in an unprofessional condition
I expected better professionalism, clearer communication, and basic respect for my vehicle. This experience left me extremely disappointed in the service center’s standards.

I came in only for a recall campaign, twice.
Both times, both reps greeted me with a rude and disrespectful undertone along side of the service that they provided.
I did not feel welcomed at all. It seemed that I was more of a nuisance than a customer.

I came in for an oil change and was told there was 2 factory recalls and you had the parts for both of them. One of the recalls was completed and one not. To check the problem on the second one, I was told the bumper was removed. I can see where the technician was prying on the wheel moldings to remove it and damaged one and chipped paint on the other.
When final repair is completed, this will have to be addressed. Please call to discuss. Thanks

They were out of material to replace my bra but other than that it was great
The technician was great, however my issue is with your invoicing, I was just in there March 30 to have major service done including an alignment and brake fluid flush however I received a text with recommend service for an alignment and brake fluid flush wanting to **** $300 more out of me. If the tech doesn't have the correct info how are they supposed to give the best service. Your system started was last done at 114K however it was done at 151K, also stated brake fluid flush was done 7/22 when it was done 3/26. So now as a customer I have to question if it was ever done or did I just get hosed. This is why car dealership service gets such a bad wrap and again this is not the technicians fault.
