I purposely scheduled my oil change appointment at 8 AM and dropped my car off the evening before so that it would be done earlier in the day & i could get it back before running into schedule conflicts later that day. It didn’t get finished until about 3 PM, which just led to issues with my schedule availability of when I could come pick it up (meant I couldn’t actually physically retrieve my car for use until about 7-8 PM that evening).
Melissa was awesome and the best!!

The nice service lady (Alison I think - my sincerest apologies she gave me a card and I forgot where I put it I’m very sorry names have been terrible with me recently) who helped me that morning was one of the nicest, easiest, knowledgeable service people I have ever worked with and was extremely just overall made this one of the best services I have had at Kia to date. From helping me understand my car and service breakdown to just general all around her attitude and communication, truly for a Saturday morning as well she was one of the best and have been telling anyone who has a Kia to make sure to go to the dealership just because of how great this experience was.
My experiences have always been great with Kia and all the ladies, Alice of course included, but this most recent time left a memorable impression on me that I’m thankful for.
I understand there was a service staff
shortage but it was still inconvenient to wait 3 hours and 15 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. This was my only day off this week and I had a lot of errands to run. If I'd known ahead of time I would have been prepared and could have rescheduled. My previous service there has been a lot quicker so I was caught off guard. I guess you deal with a lot of retired folks that have all day to sit in a dealership.
There were no loaner cars available when requested. Also my car was washed however it was done poorly with spots and an oily substance throughout the exterior. I do appreciate the timeliness of the tech. Thank you.

Melissa was extremely helpful. Was very polite and kind. She made sure I understood everything that was happening with my vehicle. I totally appreciate her help.
Instead of completing the task we requested (which was fixing a problem you all created) you chose to argue with my husband about what happened during our last service and lied about what was done or not done. The task was simple and took very little time. There was no need to argue about it. That’s just poor customer service.
Kia of Hilton Head is a great dealership. From the moment we made an appointment with LaToya Williamson, who was very professional herself, Melissa Valdera couldn't have done enough to make us feel real comfortable, after finding out that we had just moved here, Thank you!
Great service with terrific people!
It took over 3 hours for a simple oil change. When I asked at the 3-hour mark if my vehicle was ready, the manager became argumentative and started yelling at me, stating that if I wanted to take the vehicle without a wash, I could. The interaction was extremely unprofessional and disappointing.
To make matters worse, I then had to drive 45 minutes home with constant beeping and warning sensors going off because the dealership did not have the part needed to fix the issue. I was also informed there were no loaner vehicles available until the part arrives. My children have been extremely nervous riding in the vehicle due to the nonstop alarms and warnings.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience between the poor customer service from the female sales manager, the lack of communication, and the ongoing quality concerns with the Kia Carnival, especially considering the vehicle only has 17,000 miles and this is now the second sensor-related issue.

Totally satisfied, comfortable waiting area, snacks, coffee, water and Gatorade available. Vehicle was washed and vacuumed nicely.
