When I brought my car in to have my second key fob programmed on 9/9, a scratch was discovered on my wheel rim. An appointment was made to have it rubbed out 9/17. When I arrived at for my appointment at 2 pm I was informed the individual, who I assume is contracted, had left for the day. I was not notified that he was not there ahead of time. I did not reschedule at that time but the following day when I was contacted I rescheduled for 8 am, 10/2. I was informed that the service usually took 2 hours and that the individual was usually there by 8:30. I had the impression my car would be ready early afternoon by the latest. When my car was not ready by 3:30 I contacted the service department and was told they were finishing the car, it would be ready by the time I got there. Umm..
Well, when I read the invoice it states, “customer states yesterday they drove through a pot hole and the drivers front wheel now has scratches.” This is not true! The scratch was discovered when I brought the car in 9/9. If someone lies on an invoice how can I trust them. Was this because the individual who does the repair was not coming in on 10/2?
BTW, if I wouldn’t have called the first of September I would not have known my fob finally arrived after 8 months. I called numerous times to check on the status. I feel that someone at Lexus should have kept me posted as to the status.
Also, when I was there in both September and October the courtesy car wash was not available. Why then is this included as a benefit of purchasing a car from Lexus of Akron?
Nik was extremely helpful and empathetic. He always kept me updated on my new transmission services. The dealership was very accommodating to make my service experience top notch. Thank you for fixing my car. ???? percent better and my RX 450 is sooo nice to drive.
