The service video sent to me was not my car. And when they brought my car up to me it was the wrong car and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes until they found my car.

I just bought my Grand Highlander 3 weeks ago.
When I got a piece of metal in a tire and needed a new tire the customer service was not good.
1. I called to make an appointment and the woman at the call center scheduled me an appointment in CA when I live in AZ so when I showed up they didn’t have me on the schedule.
2. When they found the metal in my tire and said it couldn’t be fixed they didn’t have my tire (which is a standard tire) in stock necessitating a second trip back to the dealership service center.
3. I was told the dealership service center does not provide loaner cars even when it is their fault they don’t keep standard tires in inventory, and that I would have to RENT A CAR. When I pushed back they comped a rental car for 1 day.
4. The mechanics who put my new tire on left black grease all over my brand new rim, so now I have 3 clean new looking rims, and 1 filthy one. Seriously?
It just didn’t have to be this hard. I’ve owned Hondas the last 20 years, I never had to come back because they didn’t have a tire, if they needed my car overnight they always gave me a free loaner car. And they never left my car filthy.
If every Toyota dealership treats people this poorly I’m going back to Honda.

David did an exceptional job of checking me in and keeping me updated on progress. Even loaned me an IPhone charging cord when I was about out of battery due to recall/maintenance taking 5-1/2 hours to complete service.
Very disappointed in Dealer rental staff not allowing my service dog in a rental I had arranged. Mandated a $150 cleaning charge. She isHypoallergenic breed and I even offered to keep her in a zippered backpack for the entire rental. That fact alone could sway my next dealer purchase decision. I have a Toyota dealer closer to my home.
Cody Swain did a wonderful job with the intake to the delivery of our car. The valet delivery service is also wonderful.
Lucas was great to work with. I look forward to have him be my service manager for our Highlander.

Overall, I was satisfied. However, I was told 3 hours for the service and it was closer to 4.5 hours. The text I received with a summary of the service didn’t have much information. I used to receive a checklist with details of the services performed. David was fine and explained everything, the service just took longer than expected. Thanks.
