I recently bought a new rav4 and part of that purchase involved a dash cam. The process of having this dashcam installed was such a headache that I no longer think it was worth it. The first time I brought my vehicle in for the installation, they couldn’t even complete the installation because they scheduled me for it when they didn’t have the right part. So, not only would I not be getting the camera I had initially been told I would be getting, but I would have to bring the vehicle back to get it installed at a different time. The scheduling for the follow up appointment was a bit of a mess, and when I finally did get the thing installed, my car had an additional 100 miles out on it and I had an empty gas tank. No one told me that my car would be taken off site for the installation. No one told me that the car was without gas or that it would be driven 100 miles after I dropped it off. They told me that the car had to be taken off site for the installation to St. Louis, but St. Louis isn’t 100 miles away, so I’m not sure that even accounts for the extra miles. This whole installation had been a headache and the extra miles and empty tank was just the cherry on top of an already frustrating experience.

I waited 3 hours to get a tire replaced. There was a question that it may or may not be under warranty. The tire had been ordered so it was there. They never did hear back about the warranty so they charged me and said they may reimburse me.
